Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI)

When most people think of the pancreas they think about insulin production and diabetes. But, the pancreas is also responsible for making some of the digestive enzymes that are used to break down food. In cats with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) the pancreas isn’t able to make enough of those enzymes.
