Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth

Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) or Small Intestinal Dysbiosis is a condition in which the bacteria that normally live and grow in the lower part of the small intestines become so numerous that they invade the upper part of the small intestines.

Disease Information Sites

IBD Kitties has a page devoted to SIBO. This is a particularly good site to begin with because SIBO shares symptoms with other, more common GI conditions.

Support Groups

The IBD Kitties support group on Facebook goes with the IBD Kitties website and has members familiar with the treatment of SIBO.

Cats With Multiple Medical Conditions is another group on Facebook that has members familiar with SIBO.
